Ricardo Vendramini, author of VW SP2 Web Site, is a fan for old automobiles, owner of a collection of VW's air cooled, began in 1998 with the acquisition of a yellow VW SP2 1973. Soon after it was verified that there was practically nothing about SP2 in Internet, there was no sites dedicated to this car. So was born VW SP2 Web Site, the first and only site about SP2 in Internet, that today counts with at least 100 visitors a day.
